Marriage Proposal:The Best or Worst Idea Ever

I went on a blind date with a sailor-- We celebrated our 66th wedding anniversary in May.
My husband and I met the end of June, were engaged the end of September, and married the end of March. That was 30 years ago. We've been so blessed. I wish this couple the best.

My first thought was OMG he's only 22. My oldest age. But then I remember I was only 19 when I met my husband and we've been married for 23 years. Hope they have a long and happy marriage.
when my wife and I were first Married a 80 year old man told me the first fifty years are the most difficult well we have been married 43 years so we only have to be married 7 more years and then the hardest part will be over....? We have had our up's and down's over the years but I couldn't ask for a better wife................OH...the nut that told her "You are going to love me for this" blew it. YOU DON'T give ANY hints when you are trying to surprise someone. SAD.Oh, good. I'm not the only one who has no idea what my fiance said when he proposed. All I remember is seeing the ring and him on bended knee.I wouldn't mind getting married and settling down even though I'm only 24 years old but the right woman hasn't come along yet...
